The Role
Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a reputable care provider in their search for a Registered Home Manager to lead an elderly care home located around Sandbach. The service provides high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care to older adults.
This is a key leadership role focused on driving quality, compliance and commercial performance, while ensuring a warm, person-centred home for residents and their families. The successful candidate will be a visible presence within the home, leading and motivating the team while maintaining strong relationships with residents, relatives and external stakeholders. You’ll be supported by a seasoned Deputy Manager, a strong senior leadership team and committed staff team.
Candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced Registered Manager, either Nurse qualified or with previous experience of managing an elderly nursing home. You’ll be a confident and approachable leader, comfortable engaging with residents and their families on a daily basis, while also demonstrating credibility when presenting to senior stakeholders. Commercial awareness will be key, with an exposure to budgets, increasing occupancy and passion for sustainability.
A detailed understanding of compliance, safeguarding and quality assurance is essential to success within this role, along with the ability to drive continuous improvement within a care home. My client is seeking someone who leads by example, is visible within the home and can inspire, develop and retain a high-performing team.

The role is commutable from: Sandbach, Congleton, Middleport, Alsager, Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Nantwich, Tarporley and Winsford.
Summary
My client are looking to find a motivational, passionate and experienced leader to join an elderly care home as the Registered Manager. The chosen candidate will come from a nursing background or have managed nursing care homes, be able to evidence previous CQC inspections and display an aptitude for inspiring good care across the wider team.
