We’re partnering exclusively with a respected national care provider to recruit a Registered Home Manager for a large, purpose-built elderly nursing and dementia home in Manchester. Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a confident, experienced leader with a strong track record managing medium-to-large elderly care services. You’ll be accountable for driving occupancy, maintaining regulatory compliance, developing your team, and ensuring residents receive exceptional person-centred care.
You should be both commercially aware and emotionally intelligent, someone who can lead by example, build trust across your team, and champion a positive culture of openness, respect, and achievement.
A nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) is advantageous but not essential; what matters most is proven experience in leadership and a passion for quality outcomes.
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Experience managing a larger care home (50+ beds)
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks
- Commercial awareness – budget control, occupancy growth, and private fee strategy
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- RGN / NMC Registration (not essential)
- Experience in turnaround or newly refurbished services
Location
The home is located in Manchester and is commutable from Stockport, Salford, Rochdale, Bury, Oldham, Bolton, Warrington, Altrincham, Ashton-under-Lyne and Wigan
