We are working with a respected, family-owned elderly care provider seeking a compassionate and capable Home Manager to lead a well-established small nursing home in Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of a small elderly nursing home.
• Maintain exceptional standards of clinical care, governance and compliance.
• Lead, motivate and develop an experienced and committed staff team.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure continued regulatory compliance while maintaining the home's excellent reputation.
• Manage budgets, occupancy and operational performance in line with agreed objectives.
• Participate in the home's on-call arrangements when required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Current Home Manager or experienced Deputy Home Manager ready for their first Home Manager position.
• Nurse qualified (RGN or RMN).
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and elderly care.
• Passionate about delivering person-centred care.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Values-led individual who prioritises quality of care above commercial performance.
• Ideally lives within approximately 30 minutes of the home to support operational requirements.
