Overview

Compass Associates is delighted to assist a leading Social Care provider in their search for a Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a residential care home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a team in providing exceptional care and support to adults with complex needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being.

As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and ensuring the home meets the highest standards of care. You will be a role model for your team, promoting a supportive and enabling environment while driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritise team wellbeing by providing the necessary tools, guidance, and opportunities to thrive in their roles and progress in their careers.
• Oversee the service responsibly and efficiently, ensuring high-quality care is delivered while remaining within budget.
• Manage financial performance effectively, ensuring resources are used and monitored appropriately.
• Champion quality assurance by aligning with legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational standards, and by developing robust strategies and practices that support efficient service delivery.
• Ensure accurate and thorough reporting of management data to drive quality and maintain compliance.
• This position requires registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Possess substantial experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities or complex behaviours.
• Currently working as a Service Manager and seeking a fresh opportunity, ideally with a background in Supported Living or Residential Care settings.
• Hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, with opportunities for training and development towards Levels 4 and 5.
• Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confident, adaptable, and organised—comfortable working shifts and being on call when necessary.
• Most importantly, dedicated to delivering person-centred care and promoting equal opportunities for those you support.
