EBD, AHCT Residential Service – Four-bed Home

Overview   

Compass Associates is working with a well-established children’s care provider who are opening a brand new home, together we’re looking for a Registered Manager, or a Deputy Manager looking to take the next step up in their career, for a four-bed residential home.

This exciting opportunity means you’ll be helping the organisation to set up their home, and recruit your own team alongside the company, allowing you the unique chance to make your mark on the home and change children’s lives.

Your passion for making a difference to the children’s lives, supporting the team and helping the home to grow will allow you to succeed in this role. It’s important that the children are at the heart of every decision you make, allowing you to make a positive change in their lives.

Criteria   

• Level 5 in Leadership and Management or currently undergoing this qualification with a Level 3 in Leadership and Management
• Two years’ experience working within a residential care position
• One year in a managerial position
• Achieved ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in recent Ofsted inspections

 Salary and Benefits

• Salary depending on experience
• Performance related bonuses of up to £18,000
• Service awards. £200 after 2 years, £400 after 5 years, £600 after 10 years and up to £5000 special recognition award for marvellous practice

Holiday Allowance  

28 days annual leave increasing to 32 days after 4 years of service and additional 3.5 days of leave (birthday, health & wellbeing day, festive celebrations)

The position is based in Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.

Commutable from Leicester, Birmingham and Coventry.
