Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established provider within adult Residential services, who offer support to individuals with complex learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions to recruit a Registered Manager to oversee their residential service based in Nottingham (NG11). The service supports adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including behaviours that challenge and communication needs.
The Candidate
As the Registered Service Manager, you will be reporting to the Regional Manager, and you will have overall responsibility for overseeing the residential service, supporting adults with complex needs including learning disabilities and autism. As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staff team and continuous collaboration with the company’s quality team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Regional Manager, where together you will ensure the service users receive the best care. You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, and you will also be required to have strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for the role is £35,000-£40,000 (dependent on experience) per annum plus many other benefits including:

Essential Criteria
- Studying for or qualified NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (full support given)
- Previous experience working as a Manager in a similar setting
- Background of working with adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
- Excellent and in-depth knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
- Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
- Clear DBS / CRB
Location
This role is based in Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire and is commutable from Nottingham City Centre, Clifton, Kegworth, West Bridgford, Melton Mowbray and Loughborough.
Interview Process
The interview process involves 2 stages.
- 1st Stage is an initial Teams interview with the Regional Manager
- 2nd Stage is a formal interview with the Operations Director and another member of the SMT
