Registered Manager – Brand New Children’s Service
Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside
Salary: £40,000 + £5,000 Bonus

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a newly established, solo provision designed to offer a Tier 3.5 model of support for young people who require specialist care. In partnership with the local authority, the service will create bespoke care packages aimed at empowering young individuals to gain vital life skills and educational qualifications.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative service from the ground up, where you will oversee the commissioning of the service and be responsible for its overall operation and success. You will report directly to the Regional Manager and will have the chance to lead a team in delivering outstanding, personalised care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support for the young people.
Work closely with local authorities to create bespoke care packages tailored to individual needs.
Lead a team in delivering a Tier 3.5 model of care, focusing on life skills development and educational achievement.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of care.
Take responsibility for commissioning the service and reporting on performance and progress to the Regional Manager.
Foster a culture of compassion, respect, and empowerment for both young people and staff.
Key Requirements:
Passion for making a difference: You must have a genuine commitment to improving the lives of young people in care.
Relevant Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in a residential children’s care position, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is essential.
Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred; if you don’t hold this qualification, you must be enrolled on the Level 5 within 6 months of starting the role.
