Brand-New Adult Supported-Living Service – Learning Disabilities

£36,000 per annum

Overview

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading, national provider who specialise in providing high quality Supported Living & Residential Services to adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and other Complex Needs, with a remit to recruit for a Registered Manager for their brand-new Supported-Living development opening in Ellesmere Port supporting individuals with complex learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.  

 

 

The Position /Candidate

The Registered Manager will oversee and manage the new 6-bedded service supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism who require support to live as independently as possible. As the Registered Manager you will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staff team and continuous collaboration with the company’s quality team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Regional Manager, where together you will ensure the service users receive the best care.

 

 

My client is looking for someone with previous management experience, in either a Residential or Supported Living setting, with experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues faced by people with learning disabilities and an enthusiasm for working and supporting them to take control of their lives in a residential setting.

 

 

Salary and Benefits

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in a leadership/management role within social care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and performance effectively
  • Passion for delivering person-centred care and fostering team development
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)

 

 

Location

This position is based in Ellesmere Port and is commutable from Chester, Frodsham, Warrington, Runcorn, Birkenhead, and Connah’s Quay.
