Children’s Registered Manager – Outstanding Ofsted  

Residential Service - 6 bed: EBD + CSC  

£55k per annum

Pulborough, West Sussex 

Overview   

Compass Associates is currently working with one of the UK’s leading children’s national providers providing therapy-led care enabling young people to grow and prosper throughout their lives. Together we’re looking for a Children’s Registered Manager to overlook a 6 bed EBD + CSC residential home in the Pulborough area.

This exciting opportunity means you’ll be running this Children’s Residential Service working alongside a team of experienced support workers, senior workers and deputy managers to ensure each child receives the best care. As the Registered Manager you’ll be the driving force at the heart of this team that makes a difference to children’s lives.

Work Pattern   

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, however you’ll also be on the on call rota which means the ideal candidate must be flexible with their working hours.

Location    

The position is based in Pulborough, West Sussex.

Commutable from Worthing, Horsham, Chichester and Farnham.
  

Criteria   

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children
• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a similar setting
• NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
• Achieved a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ grade within recent Ofsted Inspections
• Registered Manager with Ofsted
• Enhanced DBS
• Knowledge of regulations and safeguarding
• A strong understanding of health and social care frameworks, particularly Ofsted regulations and standards

Interview 

The first interview will be informal over the phone with a residential director. The second stage is a formal interview over Teams with a Director and Regional Manager.

Financials

The role is paying up to £55,000 per annum. 

There is a bonus scheme of 21% bonus scheme (OTE £66,550)

£5,000 signing on bonus

Holiday Allowance  

32 days annual leave including bank holidays
