Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care Service
Location: Widnes (WA8)
Salary: £35,910 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced care leader looking to take ownership of a large, well-established domiciliary care service? We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a new contract delivering approximately 1,500 care hours per week in Widnes.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, supportive care organisation while retaining autonomy at branch level. The role offers strong operational responsibility, leadership exposure, and the opportunity to build and develop a high-performing team that delivers outstanding community-based care.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will:

Oversee the day-to-day management of a domiciliary care branch delivering around 1,500 hours of care per week.

Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary office team including Care Coordinators and Field Care Supervisors.

Ensure sufficient, suitably qualified care staff are in place to meet service demand.

Maintain high standards of care delivery, care planning, auditing and documentation.

Take full responsibility for CQC compliance, safeguarding and contractual obligations.

Monitor performance, quality indicators and operational efficiency.

Support recruitment, retention and development of care professionals.

Drive a positive culture focused on quality, accountability and person-centred care.
About You
We are looking for an organised, commercially aware and people-focused leader. You should have:

Experience in a management or senior supervisory role within domiciliary or community care.

Strong understanding of CQC standards, regulatory frameworks and quality governance.

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards / willing to enrol).

Good business acumen, including rota management, staffing levels and budget awareness.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams.
Step-up candidates such as experienced Deputy Managers or Care Coordinators with strong regulatory knowledge are encouraged to apply and will be supported into Registered Manager responsibilities.
