Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care
Location: Leeds (commutable from Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield, Harrogate, York, Barnsley, Halifax, Pontefract, Castleford, Selby, and surrounding areas)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join a growing domiciliary care organisation in the Leeds area. The company is well-established, award-winning, and known for delivering high-quality, person-centred home care across the region.
The service currently delivers between 900 – 1,200 care hours per week, supported by an experienced and stable office and care team. This position has become available due to the current Registered Manager stepping back ahead of retirement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded individual who can drive growth, maintain compliance, and lead an already successful branch into its next phase of development.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care branch, ensuring full compliance with CQC standards.

Manage and support an established team including a Care Manager, Deputy Manager, and senior care staff.

Oversee approximately 60+ carers delivering high-quality care across the community.

Promote service growth through community networking and building strong relationships with local authorities.

Oversee recruitment, training, and development of care and office staff.

Monitor branch performance, rotas, budgets, and quality assurance systems.

Ensure robust communication, teamwork, and supervision throughout the service.

Participate in the on-call rota, including alternate weekends.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior management role within domiciliary or home care.

Confident managing branch performance and driving growth.

Excellent knowledge of CQC compliance and quality standards.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with staff, clients, and external professionals.

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Flexibility to work alternate weekends and take part in on-call duties.
