Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care Service
Location: Rochdale
Salary: £38,000 + Commission Scheme (linked to service growth)
Annual Leave: 30 days

 

Are you an experienced care professional ready to take on a leadership role? We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a well-established domiciliary care service in Rochdale. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a branch delivering high-quality care across the local community, with the chance to shape its future growth and success.

 

The Role

 

As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of carers, ensuring safe and person-centred care.

  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, working towards at least a ‘Good’ rating.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including rotas, on-call, recruitment, and staff development.

  • Build strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners, and external stakeholders.

  • Drive service growth by increasing care packages in line with local demand.

  • Manage budgets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

About You

 

We’re looking for someone who can bring both experience and ambition to the role. You should have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in care, including 2 years in a management/supervisory role.

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards).

  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and experience with audits/inspections.

  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.

  • A proactive approach to service growth and quality improvement.

Desirable:

  • Experience with domiciliary care management software.

  • Knowledge of marketing and service development.
