Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care Service
Location: Rochdale
Salary: £38,000 + Commission Scheme (linked to service growth)
Annual Leave: 30 days
Are you an experienced care professional ready to take on a leadership role? We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a well-established domiciliary care service in Rochdale. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a branch delivering high-quality care across the local community, with the chance to shape its future growth and success.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will:

Lead and develop a team of carers, ensuring safe and person-centred care.

Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, working towards at least a ‘Good’ rating.

Oversee day-to-day operations, including rotas, on-call, recruitment, and staff development.

Build strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
-
Drive service growth by increasing care packages in line with local demand.

Manage budgets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
About You
We’re looking for someone who can bring both experience and ambition to the role. You should have:

At least 5 years’ experience in care, including 2 years in a management/supervisory role.

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards).

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and experience with audits/inspections.

Excellent people management and leadership skills.

A proactive approach to service growth and quality improvement.
Desirable:

Experience with domiciliary care management software.

Knowledge of marketing and service development.
