Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care | Bracknell
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire (Must reside within 30 mins)
Salary: £40,000 + Bonus (up to £5,000)
Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 | Monday to Friday
A high-quality homecare provider is looking for a dynamic Registered Manager to lead a brand-new start-up branch in Bracknell. This role is designed for a leader who is comfortable with the "blank canvas" of a new site and thrives on the challenge of building a private business model from scratch.
The Opportunity
You will lead the day-to-day operations of this new domiciliary service, taking full ownership of the growth trajectory. With no prior rating, your goal is to embed high standards and stability, leading the branch toward its first successful CQC inspection.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Lead: Establish the office structure and lead the recruitment of the initial care team.

Market Entry: Build relationships within the Bracknell community and referral networks to drive private hours.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all care delivery meets high compliance standards from the first package.

Growth: Manage the financial and local competitor landscape to ensure a competitive market entry.
Mandatory Requirements (Must-Haves)

Proximity: Must currently live within a 30-minute radius of Bracknell.

Hands-on: Full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential. Must be willing to deliver care on the frontline and manage the on-call rota.

Reliability: A solid, consistent CV is required. We are looking for candidates with a stable work history who are looking for a long-term founding role.

Right to Work: Must have a permanent Right to Work in the UK (Sponsorship is not offered).

Commitment: Must be happy with a 08:30–17:00 schedule and possess no outside business interests.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Existing local connections and deep knowledge of the Berkshire care market.

Ideally has experience in managing a start-up or an underperforming branch through a growth phase.

A strong win-conversion rate for new enquiries and a proven ability to "sell" care.
