About the Role:
An experienced and dedicated Registered Manager is sought to oversee the provision of high-quality, person-centred support in Supported Living Homes. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
The Registered Manager will be responsible for managing over hours of support across multiple locations. Each home is supported by a Senior Manager and/or Deputy Manager, who assist with day-to-day operations. The Registered Manager's role will involve ensuring that the individual goals of service users—whether small or large—are met through personalised support plans.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing the provision of person-centred care that meets individual needs and improves quality of life.
• Managing resources efficiently to ensure that support is delivered within budgetary constraints.
• Demonstrating expertise in autism, learning disabilities, relevant legislation, and CQC standards.
• Providing leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering continuous service improvement.
• Being flexible to the needs of the service, participating in on-call support, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Travelling independently to various locations as needed.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have experience in at least two of the following areas:
• Autism
• Positive Behaviour Support
• Learning Disabilities
In addition, candidates must hold a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory standards for supported or residential living environments.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Proven management experience in health and social care, with an NVQ Level 5 in Care and Management (or equivalent) or extensive experience in a similar role.
• A strong background in working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
• A passion for delivering quality care and personalised services, with the ability to drive improvement within established frameworks and budgets.
• A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including CQC standards, and the principles of learning disabilities and autism.
• A valid driving licence and the ability to travel independently.
