Registered Manager – Learning Disabilities (Residential Service)
Warrington, Cheshire
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum dependant on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Flexibility required)

On-Call: 1 in 4 weeks (shared within the management team)

 

Are you an experienced Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Team Leader in adult social care? Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs? We have an exciting opportunity to join a residential care service in Warrington, Cheshire in their pursuit of a Registered Manager to lead their well-established team.

 

About the Role

As Registered Manager you will lead a team of circa 25 staff member including a Deputy Manager, Team Leaders and Senior Support Workers to ensure the effective and person-centred running of a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and mental health needs.

 

You’ll play a vital role in:

  • Delivering and maintaining high standards of person-centred care in line with CQC regulations.
  • Supporting and mentoring staff teams to ensure best practices in care planning, medication administration, and safeguarding.
  • Driving continuous service improvement, auditing, and inspections.
  • Promoting community engagement, resident involvement, and a safe, supportive living environment.

About the Service

  • Residential home with 5 beds, fully occupies with a strong stable staffing team
  • Focused on supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex behavioural needs.
  • Currently rated “GOOD” by CQC – with continuous improvement plans in place to achieve an outstanding rating
  • Backed by an experience senior management team alongside experienced Registered Managers in the area  

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in a care home or supported living service.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 3 with a commitment to work towards Level 5 and 2+ years’ management experience).
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC compliance, safeguarding, care planning, and medication protocols.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with a commitment to improving lives.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred due to the location and nature of the role.
