This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Manager with expertise in complex care to make a real impact in a leading 3-Unit Care home dedicated to supporting individuals with complex health needs. The service provides both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, catering to individuals with complex mental health, neurological conditions, brain and spinal injuries, and stroke recovery.

Overview:

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a well-respected healthcare provider to find a skilled Registered Manager for their specialist home in North East London.

Having further opening of some of their beds they are now looking for an experienced, dynamic leader to continue driving its journey of continuous improvement and ensure the delivery of the highest care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring smooth coordination between clinical and operational teams.
• Take charge of care planning, safeguarding, and clinical governance, ensuring the highest standards are met across all care practices.
• Lead, manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
• Develop and implement quality assurance systems to monitor and enhance care standards in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the clinical lead, operations manager, and nursing teams to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
• Build relationships with external professionals and stakeholders, ensuring the service remains aligned with industry standards and regulations, including CQC compliance.
• Act as a strong, supportive leader while receiving ongoing guidance from directors and a dedicated compliance team.

Criteria:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager, with a strong preference for experience in complex care or neurological rehabilitation settings.
• Active NMC PIN (preferred) or significant experience in clinical care management.
• A strong understanding of CQC standards and proven ability to improve ratings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse clinical and operational team.
• Ability to articulate complex care situations, showcasing your hands-on experience in managing challenging care scenarios.
• Experience in coordinating between clinical, operational, and compliance teams to improve care delivery and outcomes.
