Adult Supported Living Service – Learning Disabilities and Autism

£42,000 per annum

Overview

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading, national provider who specialise in providing high quality Supported Living & Residential Services to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, Acquired Brain Injuries, and other Complex Needs, with a remit to recruit for a Registered Manager to oversee their Supported Living service based in Cheshire, who support adults with complex learning disabilities, autism, and other challenging needs.  

 

 

The Position /Candidate

As the Registered Manager, you will oversee and manage the Supported Living service supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism who require support to help live as independently as possible. As the Registered Manager you will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staff team and continuous collaboration with the company’s quality team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Regional Manager, where together you will ensure the residents all receive the best care.

 

 

My client is looking for someone with previous management experience within a Supported Living setting with multi-site experience, with prior experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health conditions. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues faced by people with learning disabilities and an enthusiasm for working and supporting them to take control of their lives within a Supported Living setting.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience as a Service Manager within a Supported Living setting with multi-site experience
  • Must hold or be working towards a NVQ 5 in Health and Social Care
  • Broad experience of managing people, service and quality within Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
  • Ability to maintain accurate and clear records with prior financial and/or budgetary experience
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect
  • Strong awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice

 

 

Location

Covering services across the Cheshire region including Nantwich, Crewe, Sandbach, Congleton, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Winsford and Chester.
