Overview

 

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected social care provider offering supported living services to adults with complex needs across the UK. This organisation is family-owned and widely known for combining the scale and opportunity of a larger group with the culture and flexibility of an independent provider.

 

We are currently seeking a Registered Manager for a well-established supported living service in Barking. The service supports adults with learning disabilities, autism, and associated needs across several properties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hands-on leader to join a growing organisation that places quality of care and service development at the heart of what they do.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Hold CQC registration and oversee all operational aspects of the service
  • Lead and develop a team of service managers and support staff
  • Drive compliance, service improvement, and person-centred care planning
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and internal departments
  • Support and contribute to the wider organisational development strategy
  • Identify opportunities for quick wins and long-term improvements

 

 

Ideal Candidate

 

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 3 with strong experience and willingness to complete Level 5)
  • Background in Supported Living or Residential services for adults with learning disabilities and autism
  • Strong leadership and team development experience
  • Confident in driving CQC compliance and service improvement
  • Full UK driving licence – must live within 45 minutes of Barking
  • Commercially aware and able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
