We are excited to be partnering with a well-established and reputable care home provider with several services across the north of England. They are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis at their elderly nursing home in Huddersfield.

About the Home:

The care facility in West Yorkshire offers a dedicated TV room where all residents are welcome to relax and socialise. This space provides an excellent opportunity for residents to connect and enjoy their day. Additionally, there is a kitchenette available for residents and their visitors, promoting a sense of independence, which is considered an important aspect of residents' well-being. Established over 40 years ago as the first and only private nursing home in the area, the care facility has a rich history and continues to provide a personal yet professional level of care to its residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the leadership and management of the nursing team.
• Ensure residents receive the highest standard of care in line with their care plans.
• Oversee the administration of medication and other clinical tasks.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Mentor and support staff development, including conducting performance appraisals.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure the best care outcomes for residents.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: At least 2 years experience within an elderly nursing home.
• Personal Qualities: A compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of elderly residents.
• Skills: A passion for providing high-quality care and supporting a positive team environment.
• Flexibility: Ability to work 12-hour shifts (8am - 8pm), including alternate weekends and holidays.
