Registered Turnaround Manager | Elderly Nursing, Residential & Dementia Care

Salary:             Up to £75,000 per annum + 10% Bonus + additional benefits

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join a well-established national elderly care provider, to lead one of their services in the Liverpool area.

 

The home provides nursing, residential and dementia care to older adults and forms part of a wider portfolio of services across the UK. This role will suit a hands-on, improvement-focused leader who is comfortable working within a turnaround environment and enjoys building stability across teams, processes and culture.

 

You will be responsible for the overall operational leadership of the home, ensuring high standards of care are delivered while supporting the development of a motivated and engaged workforce.

 

The successful candidate will benefit from the support of a Deputy Manager and experienced Regional leadership team, enabling you to focus on driving improvements and embedding sustainable practices across the service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong and visible leadership across a home delivering nursing, residential and dementia care
  • Drive improvements in quality, compliance and overall home performance
  • Lead recruitment, retention and development of the staff team
  • Maintain and improve CQC standards and governance frameworksFoster a positive culture centred on resident wellbeing and staff engagement
  • Build relationships with families, healthcare professionals and community partners
  • Ensure effective management of occupancy, staffing and operational performance

The Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will bring:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within elderly care
  • Background managing homes providing nursing, dementia and residential care
  • Demonstrable success maintaining or improving CQC inspection outcomes
  • Strong leadership capability with focus on team development and retention
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to drive operational improvements
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)

The ideal candidate will be a visible and supportive leader, capable of motivating teams while driving meaningful improvements within the home.

 

Location

This role is commutable from:

Liverpool, Bootle, Kirkby, Huyton, Prescot, Knowsley, St Helens, Widnes, Birkenhead, Wallasey and Maghull.

 

Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Home Manager to take leadership of a service requiring operational improvement. With strong regional support and the autonomy to implement change, the successful candidate will play a key role in stabilising and improving the home’s performance. In exchange, you will be compensated a salary up to £75,000 + benefits.
