At present, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join their Cath Lab Team team, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

                 

The Role                                                                   

The successful candidate will work as part of their highly specialised Cardiac Cath Lab team to provide effective, evidence-based and patient focused care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Involvement with Cardiac, Radiology Interventional and Diagnostic Procedures, including complex procedures such as MitralClips and Tavis
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and assist with interventions during procedures.
  • Working closely with Consultants and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered
  • Support of junior staff, providing expert knowledge and leadership

 

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which will fall between the Cath Lab opening times between 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday based on internal rotation.

Role Requirements                                                                  

- RGN qualification   

- NMC Registration    

- Previous experience Cardiac Cath Lab experience is essential

- Passion for high quality care   

- Motivated individual    

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills   

- High sense of personal responsibility    

 

Summary                                                                                             

In return, there is a generous base salary of up to £45,500 on offer, plus unsociable enhancement which is paid in addition for the Saturday cover. My client is also offering a competitive benefits package including:
