We are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable care home provider that have a number of services throughout the Northeast. They are currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join them on a full time permanent basis working nights at their small residential home in Chester-Le-Street.
The home is rated GOOD in all areas with CQC, has an excellent reputation in the area and is fully occupied with a waiting list.
The Candidate
As Senior Carer, you will work be responsible for the care home during the night shift working alongside another Senior and 2 Care Assistants. You will supervise the team ensuring they are delivering the highest standards of personalised care to residents. You will have a caring and kind nature with natural empathy and willingness to help others.
This is a permanent position offering 36 hours a week with a working pattern of 19:45 – 08:00.
Requirements
NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (Essential) NVQ 3 preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Previous experience working in elderly care / care home setting
