Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with a Leading Private Hospital, located in Birmingham, who are looking for a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join their Haematology & Oncology Ward.

       

This 10 bedded ward provides care for a mixture of patients including those who are acutely unwell, chemotherapy patients, haematology patients (including Leukaemia and blood related cancers) as well as Oncology patients. This Hospital is recognised for their personalised care delivered at the highest standard, combined with their investment in the latest technology. 

   

The Role

The successful candidate will join their close-knit team that provides ongoing care for Oncology and Haematology patients within an inpatient setting. You will assess, plan and deliver the highest standard of care, supporting patients throughout their journey with a kind and compassionate approach. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will provide expert knowledge to junior staff, and ensure the smooth running of the department.

         

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which consists of long days, some nights and weekends.

Role Requirements

- RGN Qualification                                       

- NMC Registration

- Previous experience working within haematology, oncology or similar cancer setting       

- SACT Passport

- Intravenous chemotherapy administration experience  

- Excellent communication skills                 

- Motivated and enthusiastic                                                                                   

- Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively                 

 

Summary 

In return, there is a generous base salary of up to £40,000 on offer dependent on experience, with an additional 9% enhancement for unsociable hours. My client is also offering a competitive benefits package including
