Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with a Leading Private Hospital, located in Central London, who arelooking for a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join their Haematology & Oncology Ward. This is a dedicated private facility, specialising in treatment of Haematological Malignancies and Solid Tumours. They are also a JACIE accredited bone marrow transplant centre, including CAR-T cell therapy.
This 48 bedded ward provides care for a mixture of patients including those who are acutely unwell, chemotherapy patients, haematology patients (including Leukaemia and blood related cancers) as well as Oncology patients (including Sarcoma). This Hospital is recognised for their personalised care delivered at the highest standard, combined with their investment in the latest technology.
The Role
The successful candidate will join their close-knit team that provides ongoing care for Oncology and Haematology patients within an inpatient setting. You will assess, plan and deliver the highest standard of care, supporting patients throughout their journey with a kind and compassionate approach. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will provide expert knowledge to junior staff, and ensure the smooth running of the department.
This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which consists of long days, some nights and weekends.

Role Requirements
- RGN Qualification
- NMC Registration
- Previous experience working within haematology, oncology or similar cancer setting
- Experienced working with acutely ill patients
- Intravenous chemotherapy administration experience
- Solid experience working in a senior capacity and able to lead a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
