Senior MSK Physiotherapist – Private Acute Hospital

Chertsey - Woking

37.5 hours per week, permanent

This exclusive private hospital is a leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. 

They currently have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. The successful candidate will predominantly be working within MSK outpatients with some the opportunity to work on the post-op Orthopaedic ward.

Candidate Requirements

  • Chartered Physiotherapist with at least two years post graduate Physiotherapy experience
  • Outpatient experience in MSK and post op orthopaedics
  • Acupuncture and shockwave experience preferable
  • Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice
  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools
  • Degree level educated, or equivalent

 

Key Duties

  • Manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard. Ensuring excellent patient care is promoted within the hospital
  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and outpatients
  • Provide surgical pre-operative assessment for all patients working closely with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide clinical direction for other physiotherapy staff within the team
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote a professional and caring environment.

 

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The hours can be flexible across Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday required.
