Compass Associates are supporting a well-established, values-led social care organisation in the appointment of a Service Manager to oversee a portfolio of adult autism services in the Glasgow area.

This role offers the opportunity to lead established services with a strong focus on autism-informed practice, people development and community integration. The organisation operates a coaching-led leadership model and places strong emphasis on autonomy, collaboration and quality.

THE ROLE

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the direct operational management of a group of services, ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality and remain autism specific in approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Day-to-day leadership and oversight of multiple services
• Coaching, mentoring and developing Team Leaders and staff teams
• Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support focused on independence and skill development
• Oversight and review of care and support plans, risk management and quality audits
• Managing staffing, performance and people-related matters
• Financial oversight, including budget management and contribution to planning and review
• Building effective relationships with families, commissioners and local community partners
• Promoting the service and organisation locally

ABOUT YOU

This role will suit an experienced social care manager who brings:

• A relevant qualification as set by the SSSC, such as SVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care and Leadership in Management and Care
• Proven management experience within autism or complex needs services
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring capability
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
• Confidence managing quality, people and financial performance
• A values-driven approach aligned with autism-informed practice
