Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established provider within Supported Living care, who offer support to adults with complex learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs, to recruit for a Service Manager to oversee their established Supported Living service based in the Tarporley area. The service supports 6 male adults with complex learning disabilities, mental health conditions and associated needs. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a management position, with exposure to profound learning disabilities and mental health needs.
The Candidate
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staffing team and continuous collaboration with the company’s senior management team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working alongside your Line Manager, where together you will ensure the residents of the service receive the best care.
You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, and you will also be required to have strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding.

Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 3, Level 4 or Level 5 within Health and Social Care is desirable
- Previous experience working within a similar setting
- Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and/or autism
- Knowledge of the CQC / KLOES / regulations
- Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
- Clear DBS
Location
This role is based in Tarporley, Cheshire and is commutable from Chester, Nantwich, Ellesmere Port, Winsford, Crewe and Tarvin.
Interview Process
The interview process involves meeting with the Regional Manager and completing both competency-based and scenario-based questions, including completing a task set out to showcase previous knowledge and skills.
