Do you excel in dynamic, fast-moving healthcare settings where you can take full accountability for service delivery, performance, and transformation?

We’re supporting an innovative, fast-growing healthcare provider delivering NHS community services across London and nearby counties. With a strong focus on ENT and Dermatology and an expanding geographical footprint, they are now seeking a skilled Services Manager to oversee end-to-end operational management.

This is a newly created role, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the position, embed best practice, and influence meaningful change within a values-driven organisation that prioritises performance, collaboration, and patient care.

You’ll report directly to the COO and play an influential role in leading multidisciplinary teams, ensuring exceptional patient experience, and driving both operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operational delivery for ENT and Dermatology services across multiple locations

  • Take full accountability for the complete “referral to discharge” pathway, ensuring smooth, compliant patient journeys

  • Drive service optimisation, including clinical capacity planning, workforce deployment, appointment scheduling, and clinic resourcing

  • Manage service performance in line with KPIs, NHS levels of service, and contractual commitments

  • Lead and support both clinical and non-clinical teams

  • Monitor, interpret, and report on operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

  • Increase referrals and ensure clinical capacity aligns with demand, working closely with clinicians and commissioners

  • Oversee the full P&L for assigned services and ensure financial targets are met

  • Develop strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and partner clinics

  • Contribute to change programmes and continuous quality improvement initiatives

  • Ensure full compliance with CQC requirements, NHS standards, and internal governance frameworks

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Degree-level education, ideally in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field

  • Demonstrable experience in managing healthcare services

  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing direct and matrix teams

  • Confident managing P&L and operational budgets

  • Skilled at stakeholder management and relationship building

  • Knowledge of pathway design, waitlist management, and performance analysis

  • Adaptable, personable, and comfortable operating in a high-growth, change-led environment

  • Experienced Practice Managers or Operations Leads looking for progression are strongly encouraged to apply

What’s On Offer:

  • Hybrid working – typically 3 days per week in the office

  • Up to £48,000 basic salary

  • Quarterly performance bonus of £1,000 for meeting operational profit targets

  • Annual performance bonus of £1,000 for achieving service-level objectives

  • Overachievement bonus – £250 for every £20,000 over annual budget

  • 37.5-hour working week (Monday–Friday; 9am–5pm)

  • Paid travel to local clinic sites

  • A genuinely autonomous leadership role with excellent internal support and cross-department collaboration

  • Strong long-term development prospects with a clear path to more senior roles

Location: Croydon (Hybrid) – easily accessible from South London, Central London, Redhill, Epsom, Orpington, Kingston-upon-Thames
