Full-time, Term-time (38 weeks per year)

£32,300 per annum 

Compass Associates are excited to partner with a national specialist care and education provider that supports vulnerable children and young people through a trauma-responsive, therapeutic approach. The organisation operates a growing network of independent specialist schools and residential services across England, supporting children and young people with complex needs.

Due to continued expansion across the West Midlands, they are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work across a number of specialist day schools.

To apply for this role, you must have a driving license and access to a car.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech, Language & Communication Needs, Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs.
• Manage a caseload of schools, providing specialist support and consultation to colleagues.
• Deliver therapeutic advice, assessments, goal-setting, and recommendations for children and young people.
• Develop, review, and update therapeutic goals within educational settings.
• Engage in regular supervision, CPD, and service development opportunities.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist
• HCPC registration
• Experience working with children (ideally within a SEN environment)
• Confident working independently and managing your own caseload
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel between sites required)
