Job Title: Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse - RMN or RNLD
Salary: Up to £42,073 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours - full time

Location: Cardiff

Setting: Low Secure Hospital 
Shift Pattern: Mixed shifts (days, nights, and weekends on a rotational basis)

Overview: 

I am currently headhunting on behalf of a highly regarded healthcare provider for an exciting opportunity based at their 3-bedded low secure hospital in Cardiff. This service cares for individuals with Mental Health conditions, Personality Disorders, and Mild Learning Disabilities, offering a unique chance to work in a supportive, therapeutic environment. The hospital’s approach aims to foster independence and, when possible, help patients transition to community living. The service is currently looking to expand their team and is offering a dynamic opportunity for both experienced RMN and RNLD nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to adult males and females with personality disorders, learning disabilities, or mental health issues.
• Support patients in gaining independence and assist them in transitioning to community living through structured treatment programs.
• Work within a small, close-knit team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
• Rotate across day, night, and weekend shifts (with flexibility depending on your preferences).

Requirements:

• Valid UK NMC registration as an RMN or RNLD nurse.
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a mental health setting
• Strong team-working skills with a flexible and compassionate approach.
• Ability to demonstrate commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
