Job Title: Staff Nurse - RMN or RNLD - Mental Health Hospital

Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £33,176 - £35,596 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Shift Pattern: 3 shift, 3 shift, 4 shift rota (mix of days and nights)

Role Overview:

Compass Associates is working with a well-established private mental health hospital in Fareham, specialising in high-dependency rehabilitation for adult men. We are currently seeking an experienced Staff Nurse (RMN / RNLD) to join their dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in mental health nursing and have a strong commitment to supporting individuals with complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment and contribute to the outstanding care provided within a mental health hospital setting.

The mental health hospital provides rehabilitation for individuals with conditions such as; Bipolar disorder, Psychosis, Self-harm, Sexual offending, Substance misuse, Mild autism and learning disabilities, and Anxiety

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, care planning, and risk management
• Deliver person-centred care to patients with mental health conditions, challenging behaviours, and complex needs
• Collaborate with patients to support them in achieving their goals and aspirations
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care within a multidisciplinary team

Candidate Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD)
• Previous experience in mental health hospital settings, ideally in rehabilitation or secure environments
• Passionate about working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours
