Compass Associates are proud to be working with one of the UK’s leading private hospitals, located in the heart of Central London, who are currently in search for an experience Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) to join their theatres team. The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the team of Surgical Care Practitioner to support Robotic Surgery within the theatres department  You will have a number of duties including:

• Assist in a wide range of complex surgical procedures using the da Vinci Surgical System and other robotic platforms.
• Act as a skilled first assistant and contribute to pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
• Provide specialist knowledge in robotic techniques and support surgical innovation within the hospital.
• Participate in training, education, and research activities to advance robotic capabilities within the team.

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which will be worked between Monday to Saturday (Saturdays will be on their internal rotation), and there are no Sunday requirements!

Requirements            

• RGN or ODP with valid NMC or HCPC registration
• Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner
• MSc, PG Cert, PG Dip Surgical Care Practice
• Strong Robotics, Urology or Gynaecology experience
• In-depth knowledge of surgical anatomy, aseptic technique and perioperative care
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven CPD
• Passion for surgical advancement and patient-centred care
