The Role
As Theatre Manager, you will lead the clinical, operational, and strategic development of theatre services within the hospital.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing day-to-day theatre operations and perioperative care
-
Building, leading, and developing a high-performing theatre team
-
Implementing and embedding clinical governance and quality frameworks
-
Driving theatre efficiency, utilisation, and patient outcomes
-
Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
-
Working closely with senior stakeholders including the Clinical Services Director and Medical Director
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will directly shape how services are delivered from day one.
What We’re Looking For

NMC or HCPC registered practitioner
-
Strong perioperative background (scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery)
-
Previous experience in a theatre leadership/management role

Proven ability to lead, develop, and influence teams

Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement
-
Experience with CQC inspections or readiness
-
Commercial awareness and operational management experience
