Triage Clinician (Nurse)

Urgent Care | Bracknell | £30,000–£35,000 DOE 

Full-Time or Part-Time | NHS Pension + Enhancements

 

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for urgent care and clinical triage? My client is currently seeking a dynamic and patient-focused Triage Clinician to join their well-established multidisciplinary team at a busy Urgent Care Centre in Bracknell.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern healthcare setting that prioritises clinical quality, staff wellbeing, and professional development. You will be supported by a collaborative team of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and fellow clinicians.

 

Role Overview

As a Triage Clinician, you will:

  • Conduct rapid and effective triage assessments of both adults and children.

  • Prioritise patients using recognised triage tools such as the Australasian Triage Score.

  • Deliver high-quality care advice, signposting or safely repatriating patients when appropriate.

  • Escalate concerns and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the MDT.

  • Participate in audits, safeguarding processes, and continuous service improvement.

 Requirements

  • NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.

  • Post-registration experience in primary, urgent, or emergency care settings.

  • Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work confidently under pressure.

  • Clear understanding of the urgent care patient journey and clinical governance.

  • Commitment to CPD and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge.
