The Role
Compass Associates are pleased to be working alongside a valued client who operate a portfolio of care homes across the United Kingdom. With their homes providing nursing, residential and dementia care they are eager to find a seasoned manager to join the business that can lead the turnaround of one of their homes.
The home itself is a medium sized service providing care to elderly residents, with fantastic potential under the right team to implement and drive improvements.
Candidate
As the service provides nursing care, a previous experience of management within a nursing home is essential. A background in turnaround management is also essential; with evidence of how this turnaround was achieved, the areas that worked and which didn't.
As a Home Manager, the chosen candidate will display an understanding of CQC requirements, be keen to build up strong and transparent relationships and understand how to provide good quality care. Mastering the basics will be at the heart of practice, in order to ensure each resident receives person-centred care and the service meets all compliance.

The role is commutable from: Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Rochdale, Holmfirth, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Shaw, Bacup, and Penistone.
Summary
My client is seeking a dynamic and passionate leader to join a care home situated around Huddersfield and support the turnaround of this service. You’ll be knowledgeable around quality, be able to coach the team and work alongside external stakeholders. The provider will offer support in the form of resources and senior management in order to ensure the success of the project.
