The Role
Compass Associates are pleased to be partnering with a fantastic care provider operating across the UK, with a portfolio of both nursing and residential care homes. The group are now looking to find a Turnaround Manager for a patch of care homes across Yorkshire.
The role will encompass the coaching of Home Managers, supporting before and after CQC inspections have taken place and helping to drive occupancy within the service. It is an exciting opportunity for a current manager to take the step towards multi-site, or a current turnaround manager to take on a new portfolio of homes.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be nurse qualified (RGN / RMN / RNLD) and come from a background of care home management. They will have experience of turning around services, be that from Inadequate or Requires Improvement with CQC. An understanding of tackling tough staff cultures, improving community relationships and reducing agency usage.
An ability to work with pace will be crucial in this role in order to be able to deliver support under timescales.

The role is commutable from: Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Wakefield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and Wetherby.

My client is seeking a motivational and approachable leader, capable of supporting struggling elderly care homes with the intention of promoting high-quality care. A person-centred approach is pivotal, along with the desire to coach and shape the management teams in place within each home. The successful manager will understand budgets, occupancy drives and be able to liaise around recruitment strategies.
