A first opinion practice is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their welcoming and supportive team.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established, RCVS Practice Standards Accredited clinic with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory facilities. The practice sees a varied caseload of cat, dog, rabbit, and guinea pig medical and surgical cases, offering 20-minute consultations as standard to allow for high-quality patient care. 

 

Their Veterinary Partner promotes clinical freedom alongside the backing and resources of a respected veterinary group. Within their team, there is a wide range of clinical interests, from behaviour and preventative care through to small furries, creating a collaborative and supportive learning environment. CPD is actively encouraged, with support available for study towards Certificate level.

 

This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon confident in routine medical and surgical cases, who enjoys building strong relationships with clients, patients, and colleagues. Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.

Requirements

  • Veterinary degree registrable in the UK (MRCVS)
  • Confidence with routine surgical and medical cases
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive, client-focused approach
  • Interest in continued professional development

 

Location

Based near Luton, Bedfordshire, with easy access to Luton town centre and surrounding areas including Dunstable, Harpenden, Hitchin, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, and Milton Keynes.
