Caseload:
This stand-alone practice is located on the outskirts of the university town of Loughborough and sees a wide range of medical and surgical cases, including orthopaedic procedures for conditions such as elbow dysplasia, patella luxation, and cruciate ligament injuries.
With a surgery certificate holder onsite they are able to accept second-opinion referrals, offering clients more complex in-house surgeries and providing the opportunity for vets to develop their surgical skills. Facilities include a lab, pharmacy, digital X-ray, ops theatre, endoscopy, ultrasound, and a full array of surgical and orthopaedic equipment.
The practice:
You will be joining a dynamic team of 4 vets, including 2 recent graduates mentored by the head vet, supported by 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 5 CCAs, and a Practice Manager. All team members are committed to bringing pets affordable, high-quality care and prides itself on excellent customer service and patient care. You will be encouraged to reach your veterinary career goals while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Vets are encouraged to take on a mix of operations and consults, expanding their skills and confidence in a collaborative, high-performing environment. Strong communication, daily huddles, and teamwork are highly valued.
This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in routine medical and surgical cases, enjoys building relationships with clients and patients, and is looking to grow professionally.

Requirements:
Veterinary degree registrable in the UK (MRCVS)
Confidence with routine surgical and medical cases
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive, client-focused approach
Interest in continued professional development
Location
Based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, with easy access to Loughborough town centre and surrounding areas including Shepshed, Mountsorrel, Quorn, Hathern, Sileby, and Barrow upon Soar.
