  • Acting as a clinical leader and expert resource, supporting and developing staff to deliver the best possible care.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to promote teamwork, a positive working culture, and staff engagement.
  • Managing the ward budget, working alongside the senior nurse, and supporting the on-call service.
  • Designing and implementing training and development initiatives to promote staff welfare and improve care delivery.
  • Leading by example, acting as a role model to all staff and ensuring a collaborative, learning-driven environment.
  • Supporting the delivery of individualised care pathways for service users, using the least restrictive practice principles and ensuring safe, effective treatment.
  • Ensuring that care delivery remains person-centred and that service users are actively involved in their recovery journey.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A relevant nursing qualification (RN, RMN, or equivalent).
  • NMC registration.
  • Proven leadership experience in a similar setting (mental health, rehabilitation, or care).
  • Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and high standards of care.
  • A natural ability to nurture talent, motivate teams, and foster a positive, collaborative environment.
  • A caring, compassionate attitude with a passion for improving the lives of others.
  • Experience in managing budgets and supporting operational aspects of a ward or unit.

What You Will Get:

  • Competitive Salary: £49,220 per annum.
  • Generous Leave Package: 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus your birthday off!
  • Additional Benefits: Free meals, free parking, retail discounts, wellbeing support, and more.
  • Career Development: Ongoing training and support to help you achieve your professional goals.
