Joshua is a Recruitment Consultant within Compass Associates’ Elderly Care division, supporting management and senior leadership appointments across the Midlands, East Anglia and Wales.

Prior to recruitment, Joshua spent over 12 years working operationally within the care sector as a Care Home Manager, giving him first-hand understanding of the regulatory, commercial and leadership challenges facing care providers. He recruits across roles including Deputy Managers, Registered Home Managers, Turnaround Managers, Regional Support Managers, Regional Managers and Quality Managers, taking a proactive, search-led approach to identifying both active and passive talent.

Joshua works closely with clients to understand the wider context behind each appointment, including culture, regulatory position, operational challenges and long-term objectives. His operational background also allows him to assess candidates in greater depth across CQC, governance, workforce management, commercial performance and quality improvement.

His approach is built around credibility, discretion and long-term relationships, with a focus on making considered introductions that align both experience and leadership style with the needs of the organisation.
