Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client in their recruitment for an Assistant Director of Nursing for their skilled nursing facility on the outskirts of Hendersonville, North Carolina.        

For this opportunity you are required to be a qualified registered nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina, that is passionate about care and has previous experience working within a skilled nursing facility. Previous Assistant Director of Nursing experience is encouraged but not essential.

You will be focused on providing high-quality care in line with North Carolina state guidelines, Medicare and company standards, supporting and developing the well-established team you are leading. Reporting into the administrator and supporting the director of nursing, with their day-to-day responsibilities.         

The Candidate      

The successful candidate must have a registered nursing license (RN), active in the state of North Carolina. While having experience of working within a long term care facility of a minimum of 60 beds. Along with a good understanding of North Carolina state regulations within long term care.            

All applicants must have experience within a skilled nursing facility. Experience managing a team or unit in a community is encouraged, however not essential. The position requires a person who can motivate a staff team, while ensuring that first class care is always delivered and understands the expectations of working within a fast paced, ever changing environment.                   

Requirements      

Registered nurse qualification (RN) within the state of North Carolina (Essential)

Experience working within a skilled nursing facility (Essential)

History of managing a clinical team (No-Essential)   

Experience with, Medicare, Medicaid guidelines (Non-Essential)

Knowledge on North Carolina senior care state regulations (Non-Essential)     

Location              

The facility is based in Hendersonville, North Carolina and is commutable from Asheville, Arden, Black Mountain, Flat Rock, Rutherfordton, Forest City and surrounding areas.        

Summary              

My facility are seeking an experienced registered nurse for their ADON position, who has experience of working within a skilled nursing facility with a minimum of 60 beds. In exchange, my client is offering compensation of up to $95,000.
