Vice President of Operations – Senior Living

Location: California 
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting from $180,000 – Negotiable DOE

 

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee and support multiple senior living communities across California. This leader will play a key role in driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and census growth across the portfolio.

 

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in multi-site assisted living or senior living operations, deep knowledge of state regulations and reimbursement programs, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams while supporting organizational growth.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant leadership experience in Senior Living / Assisted Living operations
  • Multi-site operational management experience within healthcare or senior living
  • Strong knowledge of California Title 22 regulations
  • A proven track record of driving census growth and occupancy performance
  • Experience supporting or leading community transitions, acquisitions, or operational takeovers
  • Strong financial acumen, including expense management and operational budgeting
  • Experience implementing or optimizing operational technologies and reporting systems
  • The ability to build, mentor, and hold leadership teams accountable for performance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel across California
