Compass Associates were directly approached by a fast-growing eating disorder provider to discuss a requirement for a new Director of Outpatient Services for the group, owing to growth plans, and the need to open new sites following recent investment from a growth equity investor venture group.
As the client were an ambitious, young, fast-growing company, the successful candidate needed to have an entrepreneurial mindset to support their growth plans but to also understand the PMI / private client group and experience within the eating disorder sector space. Their responsibilities included being accountable for the commercial and operational performance of the services in which they provide as well as leading the senior leadership team.
The plan was for the Director of Outpatient Services to take the clients existing service through to its next growth phrase whilst ensuring their clients and the team remain the heart of their services. They wanted someone who had a proven track record within a growing organisation where they were responsible for client care alongside
business responsibilities. They would also need to be able to have the ability to engage and build mutually beneficial relationships with medical professionals, consultants, GP’s and Health Boards partnering with them to provide growth opportunities for all.
