The Role

This isn’t just a financial leadership role, it’s a seat at the table where your voice will shape the company’s future. The CFO will be responsible for leading the entire financial function, ensuring long-term stability, driving smart financial strategies, and positioning the organization for continued success.

The role is hands-on and strategic, partnering directly with the CEO and leadership team to optimize performance, manage risk, and identify opportunities for growth. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support business objectives.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Manage financial risks, including liquidity, investments, and capital allocation.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to improve efficiency and cost management.
  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive business performance through data-driven financial decision-making.
  • Evaluate and optimize financial partnerships, including lenders, auditors, and vendors.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive financial leadership experience within the senior living sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial management in a multi-site operational environment.
  • Experience with financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning.
  • Proven ability to provide financial guidance at a board and executive level.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into strategic action.
  • Demonstrated experience leading financial teams and driving business growth.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a competitive executive compensation package of up to $250,000 with potential for long-term incentives & performance-based bonuses.
