The Opportunity

Compass Associates is supporting a new luxury wellness retreat in the UAE with the appointment of an experienced Physician.

The retreat is being developed as a premium, highly specialized environment focused on health, wellness, personal development, and long-term well-being. The service will provide highly individualized programs within a residential setting, bringing together an international multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, and other clinical specialists.

The successful Physician will provide comprehensive medical assessment, clinical oversight, and ongoing medical care to individuals participating in personalized residential wellness programs.

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate will receive:

• $278,000 – $294,000 USD equivalent per year

Location

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring international relocation to the UAE.

The retreat is located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, giving the successful candidate the option to live in either city or the surrounding areas.

The Role

The Physician will provide medical oversight throughout each individual's program and work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments
• Review medical histories and current health status
• Develop individualized medical care plans
• Provide ongoing clinical oversight throughout each patient's program
• Monitor physical health and clinical progress
• Assess and manage emerging medical concerns
• Review medications and treatment plans
• Identify and appropriately escalate clinical risk
• Work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical discussions
• Provide medical input into individualized wellness and treatment programs
• Monitor clinical outcomes and patient progress
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and audit activities
• Support the development of medical pathways, protocols, and processes within the new retreat

Essential Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Medical degree and appropriate postgraduate qualifications
• Current medical license/registration
• Ability to meet the UAE Department of Health (DOH) Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR)
• Strong post-qualification clinical experience
• Excellent medical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with complex patients within a clinical or residential setting
• Strong multidisciplinary team experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient-centered approach to clinical care

Previous experience within private healthcare, residential clinical services, mental health, wellness, integrated healthcare, or other specialized clinical environments would be advantageous.
