Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading fertility clinic on Harley Street, who are currently seeking a Fertility Healthcare Assistant to join their friendly and patient-focused team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant with phlebotomy experience to join a highly respected fertility service and play a vital role in supporting patients through every stage of their treatment journey.

The clinic is renowned for its personalised approach to care, ensuring every patient receives exceptional support, guidance, and reassurance during what can often be an emotional and life-changing experience.

The Role

As a Fertility Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with the nursing and medical teams, providing both clinical and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic. This is a varied and patient-facing role that would suit an individual who is confident communicating with patients, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing phlebotomy and preparing patients for appointments and procedures
• Supporting patients throughout their fertility treatment journey, providing guidance and reassurance
• Communicating blood test results and assisting with patient queries
• Assisting clinicians and nurses during fertility and gynaecological procedures
• Monitoring and supporting patients before and after procedures
• Managing patient communications via telephone and email
• Maintaining accurate patient records and clinic documentation
• Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver a seamless patient experience

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Healthcare Assistant who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

• Previous experience working as a healthcare assistant within a clinic setting 
• Competent and confident in phlebotomy
• Previous experience within fertility, women's health, gynaecology, sexual health, or a related specialty will be essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable discussing blood test results and supporting patients with treatment-related queries
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage a varied workload in a busy clinical environment
• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach
