Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time, Permanent – 37.5 hours per week

The successful candidate will take on a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. About the Service
This service supports nine service users with complex and challenging needs. Individuals may transition from inpatient mental health services, community placements, care homes, neurorehabilitation services, or secure units.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialised residential care service. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring high standards of care and compliance, and fostering a strong, motivated team.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations and staff coordination

Lead recruitment, training, supervision, and appraisals

Oversee rota planning and staff retention strategies

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

Conduct health and safety checks
-
Monitor service user wellbeing and support care planning and reviews

Administer and audit medication practices
-
Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure care plans reflect best practice

Participate in the on-call rota
Essential Requirements
-
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CQC Registered Manager

Background in Mental Health services
-
Experience with CPA processes, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and My Shared Pathway (MSP)

Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act and related legislation

Proven ability to assess, implement, and evaluate evidence-based care

Skilled in supervising and mentoring staff

Excellent communication, leadership, and delegation skills
