We are working with a well-established, independent mixed veterinary practice in North Yorkshire that’s known for its supportive culture, clinical collaboration and genuine sustainability.
The Practice:
This is a forward-thinking, independent practice with near over 50 staff, including 21 vets working across small animal, farm, poultry and pig medicine. Culture here really matters:

The Role:
This is a true mixed role with a varied and interesting caseload, and flexibility to shape your day around your interests where possible:
- Small animal and ruminant work
- Routine fertility visits & herd health planning (cattle and sheep)
- Bull & ram fertility testing
- TB testing (TB4 area – shared across the team)
- Total Vet, Vet Impress and more
- 1 in 6 out-of-hours rota, shared between 12 vets
- Two vets on call at all times + nurse support OOH
- 12-week rolling rota planned well in advance
- 4.5-day working week, with a 4-day week every 4th week
- Only 3 weekends worked per 12 weeks
- Time off in lieu for on-call duties
- Extra rota support during busy spring periods
The Package:
- Competitive salary up to circa £55,000
