Senior Care Assistant | Elderly Residential Home | Chesterfield
Rate: £13.80ph (Including Paid Breaks)
Location: Chesterfield Area
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or working towards
Hours: 08:00am to 08:00pm (Shifts)
Contracted Hours: 36hrs per week
Shift Pattern: 3 x 12hr shifts per week (including weekends on a rota basis)

Remit
Compass Associates are working with a valued client who have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to work in their well-performing Nursing home based in the Chesterfield area. This home provides dedicated care for elderly residents. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working as a Senior Carer within an elderly nursing home environment, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team while demonstrating the ability to lead, support, and motivate a team of carers.

Requirements
Proven experience working as a Senior Carer/Senior Care Assistant within an elderly nursing home or residential home environment (Essential).
NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care, or actively working towards it (Essential).
Experience of using MS Word and Outlook for care planning and administrative tasks (Essential).
Strong leadership, communication, and team-motivation skills.
Interview Process
There is a 2-stage interview process:
Stage 1: Informal chat with the Home Manager
Stage 2: Formal interview with the Senior Management Team
Location
This role is based in Chesterfield and is easily commutable from Sheffield, Mansfield, Worksop, Dronfield, Clay Cross, Staveley, Bolsover, Matlock, and Alfreton.
