37.5 hours per week (no weekends)

Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected private complex care provider, renowned for delivering exceptional care across a diverse range of services. Their expertise spans elderly care, support for adults with learning and physical disabilities, and specialist care for individuals with mental health and neurological conditions.

We are looking for a junior or newly qualified Occupational Therapist to join a purpose-built acute mental health hospital. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, playing a key part in both group and one-to-one therapeutic and community-based activities. These include cooking sessions, creative therapy, gardening, a community-run café, and much more—offering a truly enriching environment to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Role

• Ensuring high standards of care, comprehensive assessments, and individualised treatment plans.
• Work with health and social care professionals, support staff, and volunteers to enhance service delivery and maintain effective communication.
• Maintain accurate records, uphold clinical governance standards, and ensure the secure handling of sensitive information.

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desirable but not essential, experience of working within inpatient mental health
