Group Managing Director placed at privately owned Residential Care provider 

Compass Associates supported a privately owned residential care provider with coverage across the whole of the UK in recruiting a Group Managing Director hire.

Following the recent departure of the outgoing Chief Operating Officer, the provider was looking to secure a senior operator to replace the incumbent. Compass Associates had a close working relationship with the Chief Executive and had historically supported the business with placing their Group Managing Director in Northern Ireland, and so consequently were approached to support with this business-critical hire. 

The Group Managing Director would be responsible for covering twenty residential services across the North of England and needed to be a strong operator capable of being hands-on, confident in covering a large region, and could demonstrate supporting a large portfolio of care homes in their previous role. 

Compass Associates undertook a search process which saw four CV’s submitted for consideration, resulting in two candidates being requested for interview with the current Chief Executive as part of the first-stage. The second and final stage to conclude the process involved meeting the owners, before the offer was extended to the identified candidate, who accepted and has since started, and excelled, in the role.
