Interim Improvement Director placed at Complex Adult Care provider

Compass Associates were asked to support a well-known and respected specialist care provider to source an interim Improvement Director, who would be responsible for turning around a home in the portfolio who was moving into “Inadequate” following the most recent CQC inspection. 

Owing to the outstanding relationship between the Specialist Care team at Compass Associates, and the Regional Director for the client, the team were trusted to be able to source a business-critical hire who would be able to grasp a complex setting and implement a turnaround strategy quickly and effectively. 

The key requirements of the role were that candidates should have a background in delivering turnaround projects, and would be familiar with complex adult care, as this setting specialised in this field. 

Owing to the network and market knowledge of the Specialist Care team, the successful candidate was introduced and had started in less than four days, closely meeting the brief and has been instrumental in turning the home around.
